Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Great location on the main street of the city. Spacious rooms, very outdated but clean and comfortable. Restaurant has an Indian menu which is delicious and prices are very fair. Breakfast is ok but not many healthy options. Staff is super friendly. What is surprising, they offer free shuttle from and to the border.

Tasteless sausage, cooked very hard, served without bread. The homemade bread we received after complaining was good though. Free 🥭. I advised the helpful, friendly Mary to cook mango chutney label it and sell to add to the charities income.

The chef makes wonderful dishes. Try her lemon meringue dessert and the Zambezi bream. We enjoyed the morning river cruise. The river chalets are very comfortable. Note: the river view chalets do not have a river view but a channel view.
