Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The cabin is just fantastic and absolutely met every expectation and more! To be honest, it actually felt brand new. The kitchen is fully equipped, wood was stocked up. This is my second stay, first being at Evergreen cabin. I LOVED IT!

Loved the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. The fireplace was welcome in the cold weather. The unit was fully equipped to cater for all our needs. The inverter and gas stove ensured load shedding wasn't an issue. Great wifi too.

The accommodation is very private and quiet. The inside of the cottage is very bright and has a feeling of being in nature. Good use of some antique building materials give it a nice individual touch. It was end November yet rather cold outside - The fireplace kept us warm and cosy. Firewood was provided by the host. There are some short hiking trails on the property. I enjoyed the morning walks. There are good opportunities for bird watching nearby. The Karkloof Conservancy is a short drive away.

The round house was really a treat. So much space and really clean, fresh linen and towels. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. The fireplace was amazing since it turned really cold. Absolutely stunning location. First class service goes to Thabo who was incredibly helpful and so friendly and welcoming.

This was my second time staying here, this time in the new Hideout Cabin. The outside of the cabin was really striking on arrival, the panelling on the outside was so different to anything I’d seen before! The decking was perfect to enjoy the nature around you and I loved that it was built around the bottle brush tree! Inside was beautifully decorated, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the whole place had a real romantic feel to it. Cant wait to come back and visit again!
