Cherry is not like your normal Host, she's exceptional, she's super nice, she's accommodating, great communication. The place was like home away from home, we're even planning on coming back. It was hard to leave. The gardens are heavenly, there's a book with suggestions so you don't have to spend time thinking about what to do when in George. The place is neat, there's so many towels in the bathroom, there's everything you'll need in the kitchen. Also I love that she trusted us with her place and gave us our space. Boardwalk Lodge – Self-Catering, hotel in George

Located on the slopes above the village of the Wilderness, Boardwalk Lodge is self-catering type of accommodation overlooking the sea. The Wilderness Beach and village are within a 10-minute walk.

The view at Boardwalk Lodge is fantastic - from our apartment we could look out over Wilderness and the beautiful ocean, even managing to watch a whale in the waters one afternoon. The apartment was perfect for our family, it was clean, comfortable and very spacious. The bathrooms were a great size.

Camp was functional for a non camper. Heated blankets and a welcoming fireplace. Farm manager was very friendly and good with kids. She's a real asset to the farm. The hot tub was great but it takes 2hrs to heat up and remember to bring wood or you can purchase it on site

All cabins in George
Looking for a cabin?
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

This was a truly exceptional and a "wow" stay! Firstly the communication with the company and the arrangements were of the highest order - everything was clear and organised completely. The cabins are truly beautiful and we spent much time just admiring the surrounds of the area. Everything you could think of was supplied and we just settled in and enjoyed the time! Well done to Buff and Fellow and look forward to return visit!

The view was the best aspect of this resort. The chalets are private and have the cutest fish names for each chalet. The best part for me is not having a TV because it gives us the necessary time to talk, rest, walk, or drive around.

The hotel in a nice location. The shuttle driver was very nice and jolly. the evening room service staff were very nice and friendly, went out of their way to get the orders right and served with a smile. On Monday evening the receptionist organised and had hot water delivered to my room in a bucket so that I could bath because the water in my room was too dirty.

The Eco Cabins are absolutely beautiful and well equipped. The check in/out process is so effortless. We enjoyed our stay and the use of the canoes, Woodfired jacuzzi and fishing rods and having the game right at your doorstep is a beautiful sight. The Cabins do tend to get quite chilly at night but there is a fireplace fully stocked with wood.

Really has everything going for it, place is off the beaten track, quiet, views are fantastic, chalets are clean, chap comes around every third day to clean out the fireplace, great spot to get away. All in all a great stay, thank you, I would certainly stay here again.
