For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Amazing location with balconies literally overhanging the water (the hotel is on wooden piers). Great views of the bridge, Marina, and mouth of the Columbia. Sitting on the balcony right on the water was amazing.
The views are amazing! Even from the shower and bathtub, you can look out to the river. The fireplace makes it warm and cozy. The hot tub and wine hour were lovely. The bed is nice, but the bathroom is even better!
I really like that hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. View from the rooms amazing 😍 I even saw 3 seals in the river. Breakfast is taste good, and 24 hour free coffee too. And that little fireplace near the entrance is great.
They upgraded our room at no additional cost! We were stuck there because of flooding, so it was great having extra features like the fireplace and semi- suite room arrangement.
