Looking for a cabin?

For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.

There were some great people among the staff. Super helpful and always checking in, to see how you are. Great place to relax, enjoy wonderful view of the beach and go on day trips. Cabins were comfortable (but don't expect too much of the beds) and outdoor shower was a great feature. I had a perfext, relaxing stay at Mangrove Lodge.

The staff were friendly and even helped with organizing a shuttle for us on the last day to the airport and when i asked for an iron to the room. The bedroom was clean and had proper running aircon.

The location of the hotel is really exceptional, located in the historical center at walking distance from everything that needs to be visited and good places to eat in Stone Town. The design of the hotel is also very authentic and it really makes you feel like you are sleeping in a musuem or a "cabinet de curiosité". The 2 swiming pools are also very appreciable in a town where you don"t really have direct access to large beaches

This is a definitely a place for those preferring to be away from the crowds and hustle and bustle of Stone Town. The personal attention of the staff, the help to organize transport and give advice was on hand. I loved the banda/ Reed chalet and had all I needed plus delicious meals. As a solo traveler I felt safe and the staff were superb in this, and all respects. A perfect spot to watch the setting sun

The staff was outstanding. Friendly, helpful, accommodating and discreet. The breakfast provided was outstanding with fresh fruit, baked goods and more. Sitting on the deck outside of our grass huts, watching the fishermen on the ocean was idyllic. On a three week trip to Tanzania, the best night's sleeps were here...the ocean air, comfortable beds and mosquito nets and the presence of security made for restful nights. A true Tanzanian experience!

The Staff is phenomenal, Nice and are very attentive and eager to help. The Internet quality is good But i rated lower as when you look at room description it says wifi. But the wifi is not in rooms , Only in Communal areas like at the pool or a dinning loundge. When they say Pool with a view...it is not justice. The views from pool or dining area are stunning. But no views from rooms. i liked the tranquility of the lodge, and of the cabins. Nice beach walk.

If you're looking for a hotel close to the airport, this is the place to be. Apparently you can walk, but we took a 5 dollar shuttle to the airport the next morning. Staft is very friendly. They did arrange a breakfast to go.

We stayed just one night before leaving to the airport early in the morning. I appreciated a free shuttle to the airport. Perfect hotel if you have an early flight to catch.
