For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
Main positive is the convenient location - only a few minutes walk from Taichung station making it easy to get to the HSR station, 5 minutes away from shuttle bus to sun moon lake and virtually all buses stop just a street over!
Clean rooms (almost too much so - see below)
Defining this place an hostel is diminishing. There is a huge kitchen fully equipped, it's plenty of common areas furnished with cozy sofas and wooden floor; everything seems brand new. The views on the city from the hug windows from some of the rooms and from the common areas are amazing. There is also a rooftop, a laundry and a luggage storage room.
3 mins walk from the train station (not the HST).
The toilet is clean, the room is clean. All in all great stay, this is the only place that you should book while staying in Taichung.
I liked the room. unlike other hotels I've been to, others don't have cabinets. They only have hangers. There's also a water dispenser. Unlike others, which are limited because they only have bottled water and it's a little hastle if you have to ask again just for water.there's a big space. that will also be loaded with things other than the cabinet.
It is a big hotel which also offers cabin like dorms. The cabins are quite big, you can easily store the luggage inside and there are 2 lights plus plug inside. The bathroom is big, clean and with enough showers and toilets. The staff was super friendly and gave me even some sandwiches for free in the morning. The location is just great, near the train station and other attractions. Itis quiet inside.
It was a very convenient stay and I would come again.
Very clean. Near to the central station. Huge bathroom with plenty of showers snd toilets snd even fake Dyson hair dryers. Common area was big ad well. Space for even big luggage and personal cabins in the room. Not many people so rooms were empty.
The pods are very well maintained and give good privacy. The staff is really helpful, even at midnight when I couldn't figure out how to shut off ambient lights in the pod. Clean washrooms, hot water shower with good pressure, hairdryers and laundry facilities.
very large sleeping cabins with lots of privacy and great technology. extremely great large showers. Generally high-quality equipment and super bed comfort.
The room was spacious, temperature was comfortable and reception staff were very helpful.
The bus stop outside the hotel is only about 2min walk away and it connects to most of the major attractions. There is also a stop that services a few of the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Bus numbers, so connecting from the hotel to other major locations like Sun Moon Lake, Taipei, Taichung HSR is convenient.
