For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Excellent location within 10 mins walk to most attractions in old town so you can always take a break without loosing too much time. Lot of restaurants nearby.
Our shower cabin was a bit broken yet they manage to repair it very quickly on the next day (which I didn’t really expect)
It was very cozy and very clean, staff was super friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Yes it is like an old wooden swiss mountain chalet, therefore you can hear neighbour steps, but it didn‘t bother us. But we grew up in the swiss mountains…
The cozy cabin, nestled among towering pine trees, provided the perfect escape from city noise. The crackling fireplace and rustic charm provided a comfort that made it feel like a second home.

The compound is simply heavens, one of the very best ever.
They provide a shuttle to the airport at a reasonable cost and they are close to the airport as well.
I had a room in basement. No views but it's not nessesary, when you are on the move all day. Efficient heating (or AC) and air supply. TV (one channel with japanese content in english), Mattress comfort much above the average, hot water, ample shower cabin (though the rest of the bathroom was a little bit crampy). Room looked like on the advertized photos and was quiet and not claustrofobic. It's good for those who are staing alone or for couples which can organize bathroom sharing withut quarrels.
