The house was great, spacious, clean, well equipped, really felt like a home. Its located in a nice area with a gorgeous view towards the Špik group of mountains. The only regret is that I didnt start the fire place, would have been really nice! Perhaps next time....

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Clean and comfortable apartment in a good location for exploring on foot. Everything within walking distance. Highly recommend the hike up the river valley to the mountain hut and a visit to the Russian chapel.

Wonderful. A fantastic experience whilst hiking through Triglav NP and the Soča Valley. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is great, and although the beds in the dormitory are close together, it contributes to the hut vibe. It is easy to order dinner, and the included breakfast is tasty. Highly recommended!

Accessible by car, by the mountains. Atmosphere was great, loved it. The girl working there was super nice and gave us recommendations. Showers and toilets super modern and new, not expected from a mountain hut.

The accommodation was amazing. Even though the hut itself is more than 100y old, it looks so great that I thought it was built just a few years ago. I liked the minimalism and the breakfast (costed 10e for me) that was very hearty and tasty. Also, there is an easy hiking route (1-2 hours roundtrip) that starts nearby the hut.

I stoped here twice in two different years. In 2022 we (8 people) were so impressed by the food and by the staff that we decided to return in 2023 to also sleep for a night. The food was still excelent, the staff somehow even better, the rooms clean and big enough. The hut is a mix between the confort of a cool hostel and the vibe of a mountain chalet, which has been perfect to us. Definetely would return and I strongly encourage everyone to take at least a short break here.

Rooms were suprisingly sound proof and beds good, sufficiently spaced for a sleep-over after hikes. Nothing fancythough - standard mountain cabin rooms, with clean shared showers (which were busy).
