Great property!! Spacious and sparkling new apartment that was very well furnished and equipped. Excellent location in Parede, close to supermarkets, shops and train station to commute in to Lisbon. For people looking for a great place to stay outside of Lisbon, but close enough to commute in - this is an outstanding place to stay. Pedro, the proprietor, was also outstanding. He welcomed us, and was available when ever we needed his assistance. He wanted to ensure we had a great stay! Outstanding value!

Decent sized room. Having a private balcony was amazing. External shutters ensured the room stayed dark. Lots of storage space. Bread and cereal left in the kitchen all day - we bought extra ingredients like yoghurt and fruit to bulk out for breakfast. Very close to Paula Rego museum.

The apartment was a lovely size and we particularly liked the little balcony at the rear of the living room. It was nice for the 2 of us, 4 adults may have been a squeeze. We hired a car and there was always a space for us outside. It had a large kitchen, powerful shower and once the shutters were closed it was pitch dark inside. We found the location great but know the area pretty well and would definitely stay again.

The cabin was wonderful and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, with various pillows. The bathroom had everything, and a good shower. The kitchen was small but suited a couple. There were heaters to keep us warm. Great location in a residential neighbourhood, near a Pingo Doce supermarket and 30 min by foot from Cascais train station.

There are many deficiencies in the hotel that are not enough to meet the price paid. You can only charge your phone in one place. There is a shower cabin that is so small that you have to stand still to take a shower. Insulation is very bad. The music listened to in the adjacent rooms reaches you as it is.

The room was quite big and cozy, I liked the big floor lamp that made the room cozy. There was also a small kitchen with necessary dishes and cutlery (but there was no coffee maker in my room) and a big balcony. The fridge was a bit noisy, so earplugs are necessary. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the blanket was warm and there was also an extra blanket. The breakfast was very good. The hotel and the room were clean. The hotel is located a bit far from the centre but there was a free shuttle bus to the centre.

Chalet Ficalho is a beautiful place to stay! You feel like coming home. It is a family-owned business and the owner do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible! I never experienced such hospitality before! I will definitely come back.

We arrived early in the morning and were delighted to be able to access our chalet ahead of the usual check-in time. Our chalet was facing the seafront so we had a fantastic view of the fireworks on the last night of the music festival. The staff we met were all very friendly and helpful and breakfast was a lovely selection of healthy options.
