    This was one of the cheapest private rooms I could find in Wellington. Room was tiny, with a fridge, kettle and flat screen tv. OK for a few days before cabin fever sets in, but very central and across the road from a big supermarket and the harbour beyond that.

    Close to the airport for next day flights. Having a restaurant available was a bonus. Shuttle service is excellent. Beds were comfortable enough to get a good nights sleep. The room was plenty big enough for the 2 of us to be comfortable with added seating in the room.

    The hotel is right at the airport, so perfect for overnight stays if you're coming from a long trip and leaving the day after again. There is an airport shuttle that can take you to the city centre, it's quite cheap and runs quite often. The room was nice and spacious and the staff was friendly.

    Free airport shuttle was welcome, and the driver (Jordan) chatty and friendly. On-site bar and restaurant and bistro was good, with local food and wine. Huge serve of loaded chips with a couple of wines was all we needed after the flight, but the Kilburnie shops were also within walking distance.

    We loved the free and efficient airport shuttle and the friendly staff at the reception which made us feel welcome. It is true that the property is older but the lounge has a cosy fireplace, there is a restaurant and the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The location near the airport is perfect. We'll definitely stay here again next time.
