Everything, though about 10 minutes off the beaten path it didn’t matter once you got there. On the front porch you looked right at Mount Cook. The house itself was immaculate and the appointments were top notch. If you are staying for a few days do not miss this one.

Cute little place in the middle to Twizel, close to all things in the area. Very clean and had all we needed in a compact space. Nice patio that you can enjoy a glass of wine or dinner. Very well done with clear instructions on anything you might need.

Excellent location to venture out to Aoraki / Mount Cook national park. The house itself was fantastic: the bed was the most comfortable one we’ve had during our entire vacation, everything was spotlessly clean, the bath amenities were fantastic (especially the conditioner) and it had a nice personal touch from the host. The host was very friendly and so nice, it was such a lovely and positive interaction and made us feel right at home. We wish we had stayed longer. Tip: go outside at night, the sky is full of stars!

Loved the cabin. Very clean and well appointed. Comfortable bed. The city of Twizel lost water due to a broken water main while we were there but we were kept aware of the progress made on the repairs.

The lodge was absolutely incredible to stay in! Amazing views out of our room of the duck pond and the mountains in the background. Our room was spacious and well equipped, with an amazing spa bath in the bathroom. Mel was the most amazing host and made us feel so welcome, and went out of her way to help - including dinner recommendations and ten serving us breakfast earlier than scheduled due to an early start. We wish we could have stayed for longer than our 1 night!
