The studio was super cosy, new and sparkling clean! Surrounded of cows and nature. Absolutely amazing and so much attention to details. We felt like at home. The bed was super comfortable and we slept like babies Breakfast was taken the evening before with homemade bread, fruit, fresh juice etc.. Highly recommended!

    We booked due to the proximity for the Hobbiton Tour. The Chalet was really close and enabled us to not have to rush in the morning to make our scheduled tour.

    This was more than just a room. It was a whole experience! It was so quiet! The location, the decor , and the whole setup of the cabin (we will call it) were just amazing! From the stereo to the TV ,to the fully appointed kitchen and one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. Syd was a very generous and most welcoming host who added to this experience. Thankyou again, Syd!!

    A great little motel located about 3kms from central Matamata. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and didn't laugh too much at my bad pronunciations. As we were staying two nights, we chose to stay in one of the two separate cabins. Each cabin had a separate bedroom, kitchenette, and its own car port with clothes line There are tables and chairs outside to sit in the evenings Laundromat just up the road.

    Very lovely place, practically equipped, clean and big enough. Bathroom with always warm water, washing machine and enough of towels, incl.hair dryer. Kitchen well equipped as well. Terrace with romantic lighting. Parking in front of the chalet. Strong WiFi connection.We felt very well!

    It was a gorgeous country retreat near Hobbiton, which was great for an overnight stay. It had everything you needed for a comfortable visit. The goats were just outside the front of the cottage and were very sweet, hiding in their hutch out of the weather. The cottage is near Matamata, so it was an easy drive to have dinner in town.
