Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Dormy Inn is located near Otaru train station. If taking a bus shuttle from Kiroro, the bus stops at an Otaruchikko station. We needed to take a short train ride train two stops to reach Otaru train station. We also liked that the market for fresh seafood is also nearby. We had two delicious seafood meals at the nearby market. The Shoya Noodles (free for guests) at the hotel (from 9.30 p.m.) was delicious.

The Hotel Nord, I adored. The staff were so polite, it was such a pleasant delight. And when my pass-card failed, immediately the staff availed! Breakfast choice was vast, and the food really first class. The wooden traditional decor is also to be adored. I'm sure I'll stay there once more thanks to the staff, the food, the comfort and decor!

Convenient location, despite being a little bit far from the station. Sufficient shower cabins and easy-to-use door locks. Amenities are rented separately but at a cheap price.

A fantastic hotel - highly recommend it! Great location, just across from the station. Amazing comfortable rooms and beds. And the amenities were outstanding! Beautiful public bath, free laundry machines and complimentary ramen at night and ice cream/yakult. Because it was the new year there were a number of special events on - apple bath in the public bath area in the morning, free shuttle to see the first sunrise and soba instead of ramen at night.
