For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Good looking hut with a beautiful nature view, with the constant sounds of nature around you (birds, water, etc). The owner clearly put a lot of attention into the place, and he was very friendly. The food made by the owner’s mom was great!
A lovely, peaceful homestay away from the hustle and bustle from Munnar town. Here you can really disconnect and relax in nature. The view from my cabin was amazing and I enjoyed watching the birdlife and fireflies at night.
The cartaker Richard goes out of his way to assist you and the home cooked meals were good, although limited variety.
Amazing accommodation if you like some peace and quiet at a bit more distance from Munnar itself. The outdoor shower is fantastic. Anurag and the family took great care of us, with preparing lovely food and arringing a tour in the surrounding hills. I wish we had more time at the bamboo hut!
We could not have chosen better! Boni was a superb host,as were all the family we met. The chalet was huge and the balcony was beautifully situated and comfortable. Boni could not do enough for us and took us into town to eat and brought us back. All for no extra. What a beautiful place
Stunning place to stay, comfortable bed and clean bathroom in the beautiful wooden hut room. We had views of the valley and could see lots of types of birds. Benny and his family were wonderful hosts cooking delicious breakfasts, helping with logistics to get into munnar and showing us there garden full of spices and fruits.
We loved the room and the views were absolutely incredible. It was a wooden cabin, very cozy, clean and beautifully decorated. The service was really good and the breakfast was tasty
