For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
The property was nice and well located adjacent to the train station and shopping mall. There are free shuttle buses to the beach. And free city tours.
Urban Chalet had it all! The rooms are clean and comfortable, wifi works a treat, and the facilities are amazing! A full kitchen, sauna, small pool! I didn't know all this when booking. The staff, both paid and volunteer, are helpful and friendly and always ready to help! I've travelled almost non-stop for over ten years and Urban Chalet is amongst the very best places I've stayed at! The free breakfast and nightly drink was a real bonus!
Cute vibe, especially since we had a little hut on top of the other rooms. Complimentary coffee, a water filter and a basic kitchen were very useful. Common areas are nice and the beach is very close!

Pod had everything you need and I didn't hear anyone else only other pod doors slamming shut with some voice noises kids shouting early morning outside, but this was minor.
There was a shelve in the pod with plenty of room to put my bags with a locker also available.
The area is really magic, wild city transferring into modern skyscapers. The Urban Chalet perfectly fits into this enviroment by its appearence. However, when you enter, the appartment is clean and really unique. I personally appreciate sauna and big fridge. Higly recommendable, reasons including low price and nice personal.
If you are travelling alone, it is nice conception to pay only for the bed, but still sleep in a isolated place. I had tall capsule, but think standart capsule is still okay. The bed was very comfortable, it is some cabinets in the capsule, AC and outlets with usb ports to charge your equipment.
The location of the hotel is just amazing - right near the beachfront. There is a very nice balcony, so you can watch the sundown or just sit and enjoy nice view. I definately will book this hotel next time!
excellent location close to Carmel Market, in the middle of White City. Walking distance to the beach. Historical building after stylish refurbishment with all modern amenities. Super comfy bed, good sized shower cabin and a balcony of decent size. Last but not least, Just Eats cafe on the ground floor, if only you manage to find a table.
