Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The hotel was perfect for exploring Salisbury, close enough to walk into the city, the staff were friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast for all tastes and food at lunchtime. Evening meals not served but many restaurants in the city with the hotel providing a free shuttle service. Also, the hotel has 4 car charge points in the large car park so perfect, if like us, you have an EV. Our ground floor room was very spacious with a door leading out onto the grassed garden area and view of the river and cathedral.

Our room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view over the river meadows towards the Cathedral. The hotel is well located in a quiet area about a 15 minute walk from the centre of the city. Staff are friendly and efficient. Although the hotel does not offer meals other than breakfast, they seemed keen to ensure guests were given plenty of information about restaurants in the city and a shuttle service is provided. Overall, a well run and high quality establishment - I would not hesitate to stay there again.

This property is beautiful, very well kept, with spacious, clean rooms. Staff is super helpful. Location is wonderful, away from the city, but a close enough walk, or you could just use the free shuttle service. We loved staying here.
