Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The cabin was in lovely condition with a tarmac area beside it for car parking. The inside was exceptionally clean and invitingly warm which was great because we visited in early March. The furniture and beds were very comfortable.

Price was good. Location was good. Cabin and facilities were in pretty good shape. There was an issue of a part of the curtain having some broken hooks, which the staff fixed promptly when we notified them about it.

The one bedroom lodge had lovely decor and felt more like with a luxurious cottage than a cabin, a welcome bottle of Prosecco was a nice bonus. It was freezing outside but the lodge was always toasty warm. The paths and roads on site were cleared of snow and gritted even on New Year’s Day. The scenery was beautiful in the snow, plus the lodges are easily accessible from the A9.

Well appointed, cosy cabins, it was -6C when we were there but cabins all lovely and cosy inside. Good hot showers and spotless clean throughout the cabin. Excellent communication with the hosts through booking and arrival, nothing too much trouble for them. Would definitely go back again.
