Smashing house in a fabulous location. Everything you could need. I was working away from home for the week and the WiFi was top notch. Next to a lovely pub and the railway station, not that you’d know, it was very peaceful. Easy drives to New Forest villages, Lymington and Southampton and there’s ponies are on your doorstep.

Beautiful apartment, “cabin“ might be the architecturally correct term, but it was certainly more than that: Spacious, with enclosed court/garden area, winter garden; bathtub comfortable for two; living room with stove - it lit immediately well and added a warm and romantic flair. Surprise: the breakfast “invitation“, i. e. eggs, butter, strawberry jam and milk in the fridge, and bread. Thank you so much, Sarah! We slept very well, the bedding is of high quality and the mattress was perfect for us. It was very quiet. For dinner: In 15 minutes walking distance there is a nice pub, the Turfcutters. Friendly people, good dinner. We will certainly come back if we are in the area again.

Looking for a cabin?

For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.

Such a good experience from the beginning to the end. The hut was so cosy and peaceful in the rain and the staff were absolutely brilliant. Needed a break from a hectic week in the office so myself and the Mrs went and hid away from the world in the tranquility of the countryside. Great pub nearby too. Great trip 🤩

The hotel staff was very attentive and helpful. The cabin, a wooden sized coach, is beautifully arranged, full of charm, incredibly well and ingeniously furnished with a great kitchenette, very comfortable big bed, large tv, small desk, charming bunk beds and an impressive bathroom (large shower and very good water pressure). We so enjoyed our stay, children were impressed too! Breakfast was excellent, catering for dietary requirements. Excellent choice in foods and drinks.
