Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The staff were lovely and the place was beautiful. Shephards huts were small but had everything you could need - very clean and comfortable. Felt like nothing would be too much trouble for them. Very relaxing. Food was lovely too.

The house and garden's are lovely. Garden furniture and outdoor seating area is great just step out of kitchen and have breakfast in the garden. There is everything you need if staying for a few days or longer. A beautiful home from home. The location is perfect, about a 20-25 minute walk into town centre/harbour area. Lots of interesting places to visit nearby, Hutton Soo, Helmingham Hall gardens, Woodbridge. Will definitely be staying here again next time visiting Ipswich.

One bedside lamp was MISSING. I had a small metal stool as a bedside cabinet. The standard lamp did not work. My husband had to get on the table to shut the curtains as there were no poles to pull them shut. Parking could be a problem as only a small car park outside the hotel. It was only the room that let it down. The breakfast was good.
