Situated in Hereford, Coed y Marchog Woodland Retreat features accommodation with free private parking.

All units come with a terrace, a kitchen with a fridge and an oven, and a private bathroom with shower. A stovetop and toaster are also available, as well as a kettle.

Once again…amazing. The cabin was so cosy and peaceful, it had everything you could need. All utensils, toaster, oven and kettle. The log burner is amazing easy to use and plenty of wood supplied. If you put on the burner and sit on the sofa just look out at the views it’s amazing. There isn’t any WiFi which we didn’t complain about but if you take your laptop and hotspot internet you can just relax and watch movies all day. Absolute bliss. The bathroom is very clean and the shower is amazing feels very luxurious. You have to pay a visit. Austin and Sadie were so welcoming and lovely to chat with :) x

We used this as a stop on the lon las cymru route 8 and couldn't't fault this little gem, Lynette and David were fantastic hosts from the minute we arrived. The accommodation is nestled in beautiful surroundings and the facilities are clean and well maintained and the beds comfortable, everything you need for a great stay. There was a secured room for our bikes and the breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice of continental and a full English, it really set us up for the day. Highly recommend.

Boasting a hot tub, Wye Valley Cabin is situated in Upper Welson. Guests can benefit from a patio and a picnic area. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.

Absolutely beautiful location, overlooking the valley. Wonderfully secluded and private but was easy to get to local tourist spots for a day trip. The cabin was spotlessly clean with two laminated sheets with all the information we would need for our stay. A tiny kitchen that still manages to be more than sufficient for quick meals and bacon sarnies. The hot tub was amazing, the bed extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and contained a lovely shower. Absolutely loved the cosy nook in the corner with the wood burner which heated the cabin quickly. We were expecting not to use the nook as it looked small in the pictures, but it was, in fact, perfect.

Looking for a cabin?

For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.

A lovely, cozy little shepherd's hut. A safe and enclosed space for the dog to run free, an ultra comfy bed, well equipt kitchenette and efficient shower. Hot water straight away. Fire pit, wood burner/stove and ample wood freely available. Mountain view and only the sound of sheep and nature to distract. Hay on Wye only a stone's throw from Clyro. Karen and Jim are great hosts. The perfect weekend getaway! .

We visited this little retreat in Hay on Wye for just one night and it became the highlight of our trip. The cabin was amazing, very well thought out and organized, and it had all the amenities we needed. Eating breakfast in the morning while having such an incredible view was an unforgettable experience. Thank you to Barry and Irene for an exceptional experience!

The perfect base for a weekend in Hay-on-Wye. Nothing was too much trouble- the host had even gone to the trouble of baking vegan Welsh cakes for me! The weather was quite up and down the weekend we stayed, so we got to benefit from a lovely breakfast outside looking out at the incredible view, and the cosy fire inside in the evening. Particularly surprising, given that we booked a shepherd's hut, was the fact that the shower was somehow nicer than our one at home!

We loved how cosy and cute the shepard's hut was, and how comy the bed and pillows were. The extra little touches of having homemade bread and muffins were sweet and much appreciated as was the board of numbers to call if needed. The shower was very spacious and had great water pressure. The location was amazing (as was the view) and it was soo peaceful at night time as well as being surrounded by wildlife. The hosts were amazing and made us feel very welcome and at ease when we arrived. Would love to stay again.

Irene and Barry were extremely welcoming and we were greated with some freshly made muffins and all we needed to make ourselves a lovely breakfast in the morning. The hut is suprisingly spacious and has all the modern comforts. It is just a short drive down to Hay-on-Wye and about 40 minutes from Hereford. We came for a weekend but would have happily stayed for a week. Highly recommended.

The shepherd's hut was everything we could have hoped for. It is a beautiful, tranquil place to stay with lovely views. The shepherd's hut is really comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. Breakfast left for you to cook/serve up was really delicious and fresh with sausages, bacon, vegetarian sausages, eggs, cereal, yogurt, lovely bread and Irene's home baked muffins were so good. Irene & Barry were friendly and helpful. Thanks so much we hope to come back again soon.
