The property was a cute little lodge on the edge of a Loch. It was very warm and cosy- perfect for a weekend escape. It was lovely and secluded with plenty of wildlife around- i would definately recommend a set of binoculars to do some bird watching while relaxing in the hot tub. The hot tub was pre heated and the rooms was beautifully clean. All the amenities was all in good working conditions. Hair dryer, defuser and kitchen in good working order- although the extractor fan wasn't working this wasn't an issue. Its a perfect place for star gazers, you can see over 4 constellations in the sky as it seems to be in a dark area with many shooting stars. Lovely beaches close by and not far from the centre with some lovely shops and resurants. Will definately be booking looking forward to booking again in the summer.

Location was perfect for me and I could come and go when I wanted to take advantage of the weather for my photography. I could also eat in or out as I wanted as the cabin had all the things I needed to eat in.

Lovely spacious & clean & warm chalet, with necessities already supplied like milk, teabags, bread etc, easing the need to find a late night shop after a long journey travelling up from South Wales. Perfect for our family. Easy location from access routes, making it easy to plan days out. Plenty of space outdoor for children to have a run about. A very friendly and welcoming host. Will definitely visit again.

efficient check in info. - reception shut for the evening, by the time I arrived friendly reception staff the following morning nice breakfast area and kitchen room was clean, tidy, great bathroom ensuite

We absolutely loved the location of Golden Oak Chalet!! In the middle of the fields and with a view of the sea in the distance; it was wonderful! And contrary to what is stated in the description of this accommodation: you certainly can park your car at the chalet!

Wonderful spacious chalet in a great location. The chalet was spotlessly clean and well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The chalet also has a bath which was a great feature for us as our son (who has a learning disability) doesn't like a shower. The chalet also has excellent facilities for disabled guests including a wet room and low level work tops We had a lovely time here and would definitely like to return.

Beautiful location, right on the beach, quiet location, the view from the lounge window was amazing. The chalet had everything that was needed, plenty of storage and well equipped kitchen, a lot of attention to detail.

Unfortunately the people in the neighbouring room had no idea how to open and shut doors quietly late in the evening or early in the morning. Not the the owners fault and nothing they could have done! Apart from that it was first class.
