For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
Liked nothing. Place was filthy and had to move rooms 4 times! First because someone was already in there when we walked in! Second because the bed was extremely dirty! Third was because the heating wouldn't turn off and window was painted shut and couldn't be opened! Forth was not great either but we gave up complaining.
The food was excellent. The bed was excellent. There was a proper bedside cabinet each side which is very convenient. Lots of different lights and switches. The TV was a smart TV which was great. Buxton water bottle every day. Walk in shower excellent.
The room was beautifully cosy, clean and appeared recently updated. Walls are a little thin, but it felt like you were in your own cabin.
Breakfast was included and there were a lot of options. This makes for a great start to a day around the Peaks.
The staff were friendly, informative and really helped us to find some nice spots in Buxton.
Loved the location. The view was amazing. And the hut was so cute and cosy. Will definitely book again in future! Thank you so much. Me, my son and my nephew loved it there.
What a lovely cabin. Roomy, comfy, small kitchenette perfect for the two of us and our small dog. Secluded. Bed was comfortable, and we both slept well. The view is amazing. Plenty of walks accessible from the cabin. Owners kept in contact prior to our stay.
The view is phenomenal and we loved this little hut. The location was great for walking, and we found the hut very relaxing.
The bed was very comfortable.
I loved the building the grande sweeping staircase definitely faded elegance but with the piano music if you shut your eyes for a while you could be transported back to earlier times.
The hut was so cosy and in a great location for exploring the peak district, beautiful views and pretty much everything we needed for our stay. No Internet and in and out signal which really ensured we shut off from the outside world for a few days. The woodburner was a real treat after a soggy day of walking which ensured we could dry off our clothes etc plus we were toasty warm, the hut heated up really quick
A cosy hut with superb views. Traditional butler sink and kettle with wood burner. Wood is already for you to use. Hot water available for sinks and shower. Plenty of parking. A walkers paradise. Bedroom cosy and the bed was comfortable. Small patio with seating to enjoy. Our hosts emailed us the day before we went to welcome us and to give us contact numbers is we needed anything.
