Quirky secluded stay down a well-kept and very well lit track from the carpark. The instructions were excellent, the key, a torch, etc, all very accessible and the guest's needs really thought about. Wonderful! The cottage is tucked away in beautiful, interesting woodland with the sound of the stream below. Gorgeous location. The accommodation is exceptionally well equipped with everything you need. /the area is lovely too. Highly recommended!

Our stay was fantastic! We felt very looked after and where informed multiple times that we could get in touch with our host if anything is needed. As we entered our lodge, it was lovely and warm, lights had been switched on and already it felt very homey! A box of very tasty biscuits where laid out on the table and a bottle of wine in the fridge, which was very nice to find after a long drive! The facilities where stunning, the kitchen had everything you would need to cook, with a handful off different pots, pans and trays. We where also surprised to see kitchen roll, grease proof paper and foil where provided! We also enjoyed the coffee pod Machine that was offered with 2 variety's of coffee, it felt like another piece of luxury. Towels where provided and already placed on the heated towel rack for us and robes where provided for the hot tub! I was shocked to see a selection of books was available! I am an avid reader and the selection was quite lovely from contemporary to a great crime or thriller! Extra blankets and throws where a wonderful addition to help keep us warm, although with a lovely heated floor throughout the lodge we where never cold! The bed was a super king and had a lovely warm duvet and thrown provided. There was multiple cleaning supplies provided and hand sanitizer and we felt very secure with the cleanliness! Privacy is something I very much value in my holiday and with our own garden and patio area there was a lot of it! Again I cannot rate our stay enough, the design if the lodge was beautiful and I think it is a fantastic price for the beauty of it. We are defiantly hoping to go back again!

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

This is a lovely place to stay. It is a pretty little cabin in a garden that is well kept and quiet. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The cabin is well apportioned with all you could need for your stay with tea and coffee and access to a microwave and toaster if needed. The location is quiet and you can walk down to a local garden centre for breakfast or lunch or into town.

I liked that these cabins are unique to anything I've stayed in before... Shower was good, the idea of what you have is good just could do with a few improvements.

Cosy and well equipped (bring your own bottle opener) log cabin in peaceful location. Lovely to hear the birds and the running stream. Had everything we needed for a get away from it all trip but still only approximately 5 mins by car from Braunton with its restaurants and cafes. Would definitely stay again.

The cabin was great, lovelly location and really well made, my daughter loved the high up bunk bed and everything is well laid out. Ample parking and horses next to the huts make it very picturesque.
