The peace and quiet, the garden, the warm vibe of the house, the decor, the history and quirks of the house and the friendliness of the host. The bed was super comfy too.

What a gorgeous little hideaway - everything is so perfect in there and I was really comfortable for a night before my work event. Everything inside is finished beautifully and there were so many lovely little touches, like the hot water bottles, lamps. and smart light on the bathroom mirror. The shower water was lovely and hot and there is a really cute retro fridge. Everything you need is right there. Food can be delivered to the cabin although it is only a short easy walk downhill to the quay. (a little tougher coming back up the hill).

Everything in the property was spot on! We only stayed a night but have come home so refreshed and relaxed! We spent most of our time in the hot tub just listening to the birds and taking in the beautiful surroundings! We will definitely be back

This is just a peace of heaven. The cottage is lovely, cosy and comfortable. It is so well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The woods were just perfect for us having a reactive dog. We were able to walk him in peace and just let him be. Wonderful just to open the door and you are in the woods.
Harley and Mary were so accommodating regarding our dog and communication was fab.
Honestly we can't recommend this place enough. We most certainly will be returning
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Wonderful little cabin just on the outskirts of the town.
Far enough to be peaceful and secluded from the town without being too long a trip along those infamous Devon country lanes! 🤣
in good location, parking in front of house, lovely hosts, little cabin in the back garden which was so private and sweet. Simmone did my laundry for me which was much appreciated, Very clean. Comfy bed, and nice hot shower
none existent breakfast. Bar shut early around 8.30. Reception wasn't welcoming. No disabled facilities wasn't mentioned when booking. coffee/milk poor.
Bed was ok.
This is a lovely place to stay. It is a pretty little cabin in a garden that is well kept and quiet. The hosts are friendly and helpful.
The cabin is well apportioned with all you could need for your stay with tea and coffee and access to a microwave and toaster if needed. The location is quiet and you can walk down to a local garden centre for breakfast or lunch or into town.
The cabin was great, lovelly location and really well made, my daughter loved the high up bunk bed and everything is well laid out. Ample parking and horses next to the huts make it very picturesque.
