I loved that it is a traditional old French property with shutters and a great view of La Cite. The interior of the apartment is modern and the facilities are excellent. The living area is large and airy. The bedroom is cozy with plenty of storage. The bathroom is modern with a great shower.
The location was excellent - very near the bridge to the Citadel and close to the main City too. Easy to walk to from the Shuttle bus.
The bed was very comfortable. The room was extremely quiet. It was good to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Having a pool was a bonus. Fantastic views of the Citadel. Breakfast was delicious with huge variety and choice.

Eight minutes walk from the train station where the airport shuttle dropped me off. Lovely walk-in to the centre of town by the canal. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

Was a very comfortable and stylishly decorated and furnished apartment. Communication with owner was excellent, very friendly and responsive to a difficulty with bedding for spare bed, quickly resolved and went the extra mile to help. Also well located to walk to medieval city and close to stop for airport shuttle bus.
Jean Paul and Annie were very welcoming, charming and informative hosts, who I suspect would try to help you if they could if asked. We loved the property and the rooms that were full of character. The room was clean and the continental breakfast plentiful and set us up for the day. The area was quiet and whilst non-descript, easily walkable to the La Bastide, La Cite, the canal and river paths, the railway station and the airport bus shuttle stop. We certainly recommend this charming B & B.
Fabulous location for exploring the medieval city, Carcassonne old town and new. Easy access to the trains for further afield exploring eg Toulouse & Narbonne which are both lovely. The gite was very well equipped and to a high specification and immaculately clean. Our hosts were both charming and attentive to our needs but we actually didn't need to contact them as we had all we needed on hand. The stop for the shuttle bus to the airport is a ten minute walk away which makes life very easy.
The apartment has everything you need down to sugar and coffee! It's perfectly located and very spacious, great shower and all toiletries provided. The owners also provided a lovely bottle of wine from their store downstairs, it was very good 👍 The building has been totally renovated but still feels authentic, wooden floors, chic balcony and shutters.
