For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Such a perfect and private and tranquil chalet. Right in the mountains with a great link to walks and the river. Staff were lovely and the venue was superb.
The chalet was very comfortable with what looked like a brand new bathroom. The half-board dinner was delicious and a lot of food. We also ordered the picnic lunch and enjoyed it during our hike to Fangu.
We had a nice private Chalet with terrace and view to surrounding mountains. Rich breakfast in the restaurant which deferred its season closing for us by one day.
Location, the chalet was superb. The welcome and the restaurant. Excellent value.
