For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
This was a great place to stay. The hosts were so helpful e.g we arrived on a Monday when a lot of restaurants are shut and she went out of her way to help us find something we would like, we were going to rent some bikes but they lent us two that they had. Breakfast was amazing - all fresh and home cooked and presented exquisitely ( read a review that said it was not enough - must have been a very big eater! We could not eat everything). The room was spotless. I can not speak highly enough of the service we received.
Breakfast
Temperature control active for both heating and cooling the space (some hotels shut down their chiller when summer is finished).
2 Tesla destination chargers available for free.
Room very nice, lots of wood and nice high wooden ceilings. Sink separate from bathroom, which was helpful. Great cooking area.
