For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Hostel is at good location, fruit market is nearby. It's also close to bus stop - good starting point for trips. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They know English well so it's easy for tourists to talk. We had to change our reservation last moment but they allowed for that and didn't make any problems. Bathroom was shared but there were many cabins to use, so no issues. Musicians posters design was really cool. Wi-Fi for guests was included and room was comfortable and cosy.
We stayed in one of the cabins. Great value for money. Room was spotless, with air conditioning, smart TV with netflix. Had a kitchen where you could cook your own food. Had laundry services which was a big bonus for us.Grate hosts, and very helpful in every way.
The room is nice. You would like the place if you like animals and birds there are quite a few species near the summer kitchen which is styled as a hunter's cabin with wood and skin. There are nice paintings on the walls in the room itself.
Cozy apartment near the sea garden with a little bit of sea view. The kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom is good as well. There are two main rooms. One is kitchen and living room with TV. The other one is bedroom with a walk-in cabinet. Both main rooms have access to the typcal Bulgarian balcony that is enclosed by windows. Each room has its own air conditioning.
The apartment is on the uppest floor. You need to walk all the stairs up as there is no elevator.
I'd say it is perfect for 1-2 people.
The location of the hotel is great, in the huge park, restaurant's close by, the Dolphinarium / Zoo close by also. The staff were very nice, there is a Bar/Café opposite with area's for children to play, animals to look at eg Rabbits, Terrapins, birds, Parrot, Hedgehog. There was free car parking next to the Hotel. There is a shuttle bus that runs from the Zoo to the Central entrance of the Sea Garden (not far from the Port of Varna)
Everything was good - the room was clean, there was a shower cabin, hot water, wifi. AC heating was working fine. Quiet street, good location. Very friendly and helpful staff, I could leave my luggage before checking in and after checking out free of charge. It was great for a 1 night stay.
Really lovely people Krasimir & Mia, always there if you needed any help. Cabins were great lovely views of the sea and fully fitted with everything you'd need. Krasimir is a great chef and the meal he cooked us was superb, so we recommend . Beach is at the bottom of the garden with some nice bars, a taxi ride away from the city
Great communication with Pavel, the location is perfect and right next to the sea but also at the city center. Walking distance from a few really great restaurants on the beach strip and also walking distance from New Yorker and other nice walking areas with shops in the City.
The place had a charming feel to it and an option for airport shuttle which was very helpful for our flight which was at 6am. Also, great value for money.
The owner of the apartment is amazing! She is very pleasant, friendly and very helpful with everything. We checked in at a convenient time for us and a compliment with fruits, chocolates, bottled water and wine awaited us. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable life, also was very clean and comfortable. The owner of the apartment provides a shuttle service to the airport and offered us a late check-out at no extra charge. We are delighted with our stay in this beautiful place.
