Cabins in Blidinje

The location is amazing. We wanted to hike to the outlaws door and the start of the trail is only 15 min car ride (across a gravel road) away. The host communicated quickly.

Beautiful and cozy cottage, we stayed three nights and we really enjoyed our stay. Cottage is located at very peacefull place with nice surroundings and beautiful views. It is very clean and well equipped, with everything you might need for your stay. We will definitely come again to this lovely cottage!

Fantastic place. Extremely friendly and helpful owners. The house is large, comfy, with a well furnished kitchen, wifi, tv, outside dining area, two nice bathrooms and all you might need.

We had a wonderful week at this holiday home. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. It has an amazing garden where you can have breakfast under the pine trees and even barbecue in the covered gazebo when it rains. Everything has been thought of in the house, and there are enough kitchen utensils. Since there are insect screens on the windows, despite being located at the foot of the mountain and in the forest, there are no bugs or flies in the house (you just need to keep the garden door closed). The host is very attentive and responsive, and you can contact him anytime and receive a quick response. The surroundings of the house are extremely peaceful. The nearby lake is definitely worth seeing. For those who want to come in winter, the ski resort is a 5-minute walk away.

This is just something else. In the middle of a national reserve, with mountains of over 2000m towering around you, it is THE place to go for some peace and relaxation. The elevation of cca. 1250m ensures the air is fresh and clean. The house is located a bit away from the main road (the 419R) so we had ample space for our dog - who was welcome to join us and at no extra charge - to do his morning and evening duties and no need to worry about him running onto the road. The setting would best be described as a "tamed wilderness", the wide plains of grass and bush with the occasional pocket of forest is very easy on the eyes, and also on the lungs. The lake is about 8km away from the property, so going there and back makes for a very good walk. On the way back you can stop at the Hajducke Vrleti inn, an establishment with long tradition in this area. You will not regret it. Their food is excellent, as is the service. The property is described as a wooden Chalet-style house. The advantage of this building style is the high ceiling in the main living area. In the centre of this area there is a fireplace which we made use of every single evening, and later during our stay also during the day, because the weather had turned right then. The atmosphere is amazing. It warms the house very well, but you do have to keep it in mind and feed it on time, lest it cools down too much. The central counter makes preparing a meal together another pleasurable activity. There are a lot of things we were pleased with during our stay there, too many to list them all here. Bottom line, we were very sad when the day came for us to leave. We will definitely be staying there again when we get the chance.
