Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

Very cheap compared to other hotels in the area, could leave my luggage on the reception. The rooms were decently sized, much better than a capsule. It had a small locker, a night stand, a full body mirror and enough space to change not having to be above the bed. The toiletries available also impressed me ans everything was clean.

Clean, comfortable and convenient! This one is fabulous. It’s Japanese style and quite cosy for three people, but great value for money. The host is friendly and was very accommodating and helpful.

This is a great place to stay right in the shopping district of Naha. Super convenient location. I expected this place to be busy or noisy but all the guests are very quiet and respectful. That might be Japanese culture. In any event, the place is well decorated and clean. Plus it is very affordable. Highly recommended if you are traveling on a budget.

This is a place where you get exactly what you pay for! Extremely cheap. Super close to Naha's only (?) beach and a supermarket, and shopping streets are in easy reach too. Especially convenient to reach by bus from the airport. If you are a backpacker or budget traveller and must spend a night in Naha before escaping to a nicer island, I would highly recommend!

Convenient location for catching the ferry to the Kerama islands the next morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was quiet. Various facilities (vending machines, washing machines) exist.

Cheap and cheerful hostel in a perfect location for exploring Okinawa. It's right next to the main docks, so if you're arriving by ferry or want to take more to the beach islands, you're in the right place. We stayed in both the dorm and private rooms, and they had everything we needed. The helpful and friendly staff also helped us book a follow-up campsite by phone, as our Japanese temp SIM cards didn't allow us to make calls. We highly recommend this place, and will definitely be back!

The location is great! Across the hotel is a 7-11 which is very convenient in buying food and withdrawing money. The room is a bit bigger than most Japanese hotels and it's very clean. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

The hotel definitely offers rooms of larger size in Japanese standard so it is great for us to travel as a family with young kids. We are also able to enjoy a free upgrade, courtesy to booking.com, so the room also comes with a sitting area. The hotel is new, clean and modern and we enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel. Parking is cheap and easy as it is located right below the hotel. There is also a don quijote right next to the hotel so it is convenient.

Clean (seems new) capsule hotel with excellent facilities -- common room with TVs, manga collection, etc, nice sauna with hot/cold baths and steam room. Nice restaurant/coffee area with vending machines, TV, wifi throughout. Staff were always on hand and helpful. Cannot fault the place for such a cheap price. Breakfast was also decent for only 300 Yen.
