Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

The place was very elegant and our room faced the mosaic so we had a wonderful scenic view of the bay and the ferris wheel. The price was really cheap for the room we got and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We really love how there is a regular shuttle service from the hotel to the station so it made transport really easy for us.

This was my 2nd time at this hotel, and for good reason! I love the rooms, they're not big but very comfortable and clean! Staff was friendly and getting around was convenient

The location is very convenient because it's literally just 6-min walk to Sannomiya station. From there, we got to all tourist destinations easily. The staff who checked us in was a trainee but she was doing great job and was friendly. The provided amenities are abundant (face wash, moisture milk, comb, etc) and in good quality. The price point for this hotel is cheaper compared to other places in Kobe.

The room was clean and comfortable. We had a slightly bigger room, and the bathroom was enormous compared to the ones we encountered in similarly priced Japanese hotels before with a full-length tub. The staff was very friendly, and both the check-in and check-out process were quick and stress-free.

Hotel was conveniently located near a train station and the streets behind the hotel are great for shopping! Room is very clean and relatively spacious. Breakfast was good with a mix of japanese and intercontinental.

The hostel was located a short walk from the station which was very convenient. There are a couple of restaurants nearby and also a few convenience stores which came in handy. The hostel has a very chill vibe, there is a common area downstairs with a small set up where people can eat or sit and chat. There is also an inner room with a traditional Japanese setup where people can rest. The rooms are pretty basic with everything you need to sleep well. Good mattresses, blankets and pillows to add to the comfort. There is also a kitchen.

Very comfortable, clean room perfect for one traveler. With more than one it would be a little tight. There was plenty of room to open my suitcase at the end of my bed, which was a nice change from some Japanese hotels. The location was very close to the station, which was very convenient. The McDonalds next door can also be convenient for breakfast or late night food. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent selection of baths available. Bar and restaurant on site, with cheap food and drinks. Towels provided. Incredibly friendly staff, very welcoming, though we were the only non-japanese people I saw there.
