Situated in the Taira district of Iwaki, Rifure Iwaki Ekimaeten-Male Only is 14 km from Aquamarine Fukushima and 49 km from Abukuma-do Cave. With free WiFi, this 1-star capsule hotel offers a 24-hour front desk.

Indredible value for money. It's not a tourist hotel, so the staff doesn't speak English, but they are still very helpful and make sure that your stay is comfortable. Included with the price is free access to the bathhouse, which has both hot and cold baths. They provide you with fresh towels and pajamas every day, and the inside the capsule is a little TV as well. There's also a large collection of manga in the lounge, and the location is directly across from the station. If you are in the area, or just looking for a place to stop-over on your trip between Tokyo and Sendai, I definitely recommend this place!!

Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

Easy to locate near station. Good communal hot bath, free coffee, and buffet b'fast with varied menu. Staff very helpful. No evening restaurant but many eateries close by: also has vending machines & a microwave oven for warming up takeaways.

I like the traditional Japanese atmosphere at GAMP House, especially at dinner time when every guest gathers in the guest room to have a chat while enjoying dinner.

For lovers of traditional Japanese architecture like me, staying at GAMP HOUSE was a wonderful experience. The building is over 250 years old. And the food was exquisite - give yourself the full treat of the breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Cozy Japanese guest house equipped with digital and necessary items. Mixed culture with global is visible and I liked it. Every single piece in the house/restaurant has a good taste.

It’s close to the station and the staff is very friendly. It was easy to use the washing machine. They clean often and the kitchen is easy to use.

I liked the complimentary drink and the free items available at the front desk. The hotel was conveniently located close to much of the main spots around Taira and we liked how friendly and approachable the staff at the front desk was.
