Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

Well it's a budget hostel. Moderate your expectations accordingly and you won't be disappointed. Not easy to find, the door is not marked in any way, but the staff were friendly and it was surprisingly clean. It's literally the cheapest place in town so all told no complaints. Location is also a plus.

It's quite comfortable and offers a big space despite being a capsule hotel. The lights are dimmable and you control the air-conditioning speed. The toilet is in Japanese style with washing and drying modes. It was really clean and personal They were really kind and helpful

The hostal is situated right in the old city center. A perfect location to visit the city center and go out for drinks and dinner. As stated on the website the room was basic but functional. It had a bunk bed and a private bathroom across the floor. The common area is nicely decorated and offers tea coffee-making facilities a lounge and books etc. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. So if you look for a well located simple and budget friendly stay for a night in Malaga, this can be a good option.

Central location, very friendly staff, rooms are surprisingly quiet, amazing shower, nice that you have separate "rooms" with a few pods in them, gives an extra feeling of security and an extra barrier for the sound of the common areas and outside. It's really in the very center of the city, allowing to access everything by foot easily. There's also a supermarket closeby, which is convenient. They organize nice events, it was not busy when I was there, but it looks fun in busy times.

First stay in a Capsule Hotel, really enjoyed the entire experience. The Staff were great, everything was spotless, technology everywhere. Great vending machines and local shops restaurants, perfect for Malaga beach and city. And the capsule was exactly as advertised, well equipped and comfortable.

The location was very convenient, the staff was friendly and they did their best to make our experience pleasant and to make it easy to meet new people. The hostel was not too crowded, so it was possible to have some privacy but also to hang out with people. The free sangrias and cheap food (dinner and breakfast) were amazing.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very futuristic in every aspect from the bedroom and the common areas down to the toilets and showers (automatic toilet). If you're interested in trying a capsule hotel, I would highly recommend Futurotel Malagueta.

Good budget hotel. decent size room. There is a microwave, kettle, coffee machine and even a fridge available in the common area so that was convenient. The area around is residential and not at all touristy which is nice. Some good and cheap bars and cafes nearby. its perfect if you want to be close to the train/bus station.
