The caravan was very comfortable and warm. The wood for Braai was provided. Very quiet and peaceful. Surrounded by nature. The host is a very beautiful, warm, welcoming lady. The place is safe and secure. Everything you need for camping is provided including charged lamps incase of loadshedding. Oh my word, their bathrooms and toilets beautiful and clean. Towels, toilet paper, matches are provided. I am from the rural of the Eastern Cape nothing is surprising about the road it's not bad and also considering that it's a farm. Will definitely go back there.
Sedgefield
Sedgefield Huts is located in Sedgefield, 1.9 km from Swartvlei Beach, 2.9 km from Myoli Beach, as well as 14 km from Lakes Area National Park. We stayed in the STARFISH room and the view was immaculate. Check-in was easy even after hours and we were able to store our luggage at the property even before check-in. Spacious, neat and practical studio room for 2 people. Very clean and the room was serviced every morning at the time of our choosing. Practical space for doing hair and make-up with ease. Walking distance from the beach and 3 cute cafés/restaurants nearby. There is a communal braai area with a sea view. Smoking area is designated. Parking is available at the property.
The view is spectacular and the visiting wildlife is wonderful. The apartment had everything we needed, and was very clean and comfortable. It is located very close to a lovely beach. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend and would love to stay there again.

Amazing location, so tranquil right on the river. Loved our room, quirky stay. We took a canoe up the river to the waterfall with a picnic, best day ever. Comfortable bed and very clean. The staff were brilliant, super helpful and had the best recommendations. We had some of the best food at Girls on the Square and Ilali. Breakfast was delicious.
Good views to the sea and side view to the beach from room 408. Very good restaurant beside the hotel, The Gannet. Hotel is very clean and felt very safe. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Lovely apartment very clean and very well situated for walking to restaurants, galleries, shops and beach. Great green space for dog walking just opposite. McPrecious was very obliging and helpful. Just sorry this was an emergency last minute stopover as it would be lovely to stay longer.
The hotel is located on the beachfront, which makes it great for picnics,strolls at the beach and the hiking trails. The breakfast was delicious and had splendid views. The staff was friendly and always ready to help.
We liked everything about this property. The hosts, Mike and Amalie are super nice , we were welcomed with warm hands , everything was just excellent. We had an amazing stay .The rooms were very clean and bed very comfortable. There was everything we needed. We felt right at home from the day we checked in until the morning we checked out. The hosts even went out of their way to prepare a table for us when we had a barbecue/braai. I will recommend this property to anyone that is thinking of visiting Plettenberg.
The location is exactly what the name of the place resembles (Haus am Strand). You literally feel that you are right on the beach! The host was great and he even upgraded our room to bigger apartment (for free) once he realised that I needed a bigger working environment. The apartment was very clean and equipped with everything.
