A recently renovated campground located in Bidiyah, Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya features a shared lounge. Featuring full-day security, this property also welcomes guests with a restaurant and a sun terrace. The campground also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Fantastic staff and facilities, the rooms were amazing and very conveniently placed. Amazing food and numerous activities to choose from. Fantastic place!

Buffet and continental breakfast options with fruits and cheese are available each morning at the campground. The hospitals of the owner is amazing. He was welcoming us and also giving a lot of information about Oman. The place is very clean and the bed so comfortable!!! Every room has a personal toilet with shower (water is cold but under the stars and so refreshing).also every room has a USB plug to recharge your mobiles. They also provide you with all the things for the bathroom as towel, dental kit, shampoo etc. there only a few tends so not too many people. Dinner and breakfast as little buffet style:simple but very tasty. I like also that the tends are on the real dunes (some others are on a flat fake site). Better if you ask them to come to pick you up outside the desert as difficult to go by yourself.

Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. SAFARI-Glamping offers two private tents and 2 huts between the dunes in Sharqiyah sands. It is an amazing camp, with great food, a friendly staff and a big room.

Safari Dunes is a permanent camp located 8 km away from the base safari desert camp. It is a small camp with 5 tents located on the top of the dunes.

Each tent comes with authentic carpets,luxury beds and bedding. A well equipped sanitary building with toilet and shower is also attached to every tent. Great staff, very helpful and the food was really good. We enjoyed the serenity in the desert and really liked that there are only very few rooms.

Desert Wonders Camp is situated on Eastern Sands that stretches from Eastern Hajars to the Arabian Sea. Lit by lanterns, the camp offers Bedouin-style accommodation with tents. The camp is Eco friendly and only uses solar systems. The camp is located between stunning sand dunes where you can go watch the sunset, sunrise or the beautiful starts at night. The drive with our 4wd SUV was made easy thanks to Nasser’s help, and that drive itself is already a memorable experience. We were alone in the camp, being still low season, but we were greeted with a tasty dinner and breakfast, comfortable beds, perfectly working shower, friendly staff… unbeatable value. There is also the possibility of sleeping under the stars in a platform with mattresses and pillows.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Bidiyah, Starry Domes Desert Camp II is a campground surrounded by views of the garden. The property features a garden, barbecue facilities and parking on-site among other facilities. The property was built in 2023 and features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a ski equipment rental service is also available. Absolutely loved our stay at the Milky Way domes! It was a unique experience, it was very clean and cozy. There were robes and snacks and extra linen. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, we had a dinner buffet (at an additional charge) and then we stayed up and they provided us with tea while we chatted under the stars. The next morning they send you a yummy breakfast to your room. My friends and I loved it and would come back again :)

At the campground, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Quite impressed with how room was set up, good and friendly service

The campground features mountain views, a picnic area and a 24-hour front desk. It was the best place to stay on the desert. Charming, very kind and friendly people, great food. Private bathroom. Pristine. Wonderful dunes bashing with Quais. Amazing place.

The nearest airport is Muscat International Airport, 187 km from SAMA Al Areesh Camp. The location was great and very friendly staff.

Sama Al Wasil Desert Camp is located in Shāhiq and offers a restaurant buffet. It includes table tennis and darts.
