All units include a seating area. Shared bathroom facilities are found in a building located nearby A shared kitchen, laundry machine and clothes dryer are also found there.
The property is beautiful and the host was lovely and helpful. The common room is very handy and kept very clean (guests remove shoes and need to be respectful sharing the space and cleaning up after using the kitchen). The bathroom stalls connected to the shared space were (no exaggeration!) the nicest public toilets I’ve ever used! Smelled like a spa bathroom…and I’m very fussy about public washrooms ;)
The bungalows are adorable, and actually, I booked our entire trip to Iceland around booking this! There is a small fridge in each cabin and we rented the duvet bedding set from them. We had the most comfortable sleep there of our entire trip!

Hella
Boasting a garden, barbecue facilities and views of river, Arhus Cottage and Camping is located in Hella, 34 km from Seljalandsfoss. This campground provides free private parking and a shared kitchen. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. I had the pleasure of staying at Árhús Cottage and I must say the experience was extraordinary, thanks especially to the warm welcome from Giorgia and Diego. They were extremely helpful and attentive to all my needs, also offering valuable tips on places to visit in the area and where to find great places to eat. Their kindness made the stay even more enjoyable. The cottage is well-managed and located in a peaceful setting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding nature. I highly recommend Árhús Cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with impeccable service!

The room was extremely smaller than I expected. But I love adventures and looked at it as something to add to ours. The bed was so comfortable. The room was so cozy. The small bathroom servedits purpose.
Dispite it being a toilet shower camping combo. It was one of the nicest showers i took in Iceland. I loved being partially in nature ans getting to wake up and run the trails in the morning. I loved that it was only minutes away from a resturant with delicious food.

Very enjoyable place, well located. the camping pods were comfy and very clean. The central facilities building was in perfect condition, looking like it went through some recent renovation. Highly recommended.
Was very clean, and very welcome after camping for weeks! Was the shelter, warmth and comfort we needed!
The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The selfmade jam, chees and waffels were a lovely surprise. The check in was very easy and the host very friendly. The host welcomed us in person and we had the chance to reached them next door whenever we needed something. The apartment is very local so we could walk to the beach and to all of the restaurants in town. Great place to stay.
This accommodation was on a camp ground, it had everything you need and was warm and clean, ideal base for exploring, selfoss has a great place for eating it’s like a big warehouse with different types of food offered that is near the camp site. Not much in selfoss itself. Staff at reception was friendly
Stayed here for a night as Vik Campsite was closed. We couldn’t sleep anywhere knowing we don’t have access to shower/toilets, so decided to stay in a hotel instead of our camper that night. We chose Hotel Kria as they were the cheapest at that time, and I’m so glad we did. The interior was amazing, comfortable bed, friendly staffs. I highly recommend!
A property was very modern and very clean and had many amenities. We liked the location near the beach as well. The view was exceptional.
Beautiful apartament with a view for the fields and the beach. Not a walking distance from the beach if anyone is wondering, but assume that if someone sleeps in Vik means they have a car. Everything very clean, warm an cozy. Kitchen fully equipped and a super nice staff
It was a very clean and comfortable stay, a well equipped kitchen available for use. There is a shared bathroom with 4 other rooms, however the bathroom was the cleanest we saw during our trip to Iceland. Location is decent, not in the city center, close to the famous Black Beach. Due to its positioning we saw the northern lights there without driving further !
We enjoyed our stay & the staff was really nice and helpful. The house we stayed in was spacious for two people and clean. The public space, to cook & eat, had everything we needed and the bathrooms were very clean. I recommend a stay at Glamping and camping.
