Very clean and spacious. Plenty of utensils in kitchen -. coffee machine, kettle, large fridge and excellent hob and oven. Lovely large table and six chairs. Plenty of games. Two televisions. Very peaceful area and short walk to town and beach. Hairdryer but no iron.
Good location as it’s a few minutes walk to the shops and beach. The property itself is modern and clean. It has a lovely garden with a hot tub, a barbecue and outside dining area. There’s a patisserie not far from the property where you can get freshly baked baguettes and pastries, even on a Sunday morning!
we were attending the Anzac Day service so the location was perfect for exploring the whole of the western front WW1 battlefields and memorials. the rooms were small and basic but very clean and perfect for our needs. Staff kindly prepared us all breakfast picnic bags to take to the Anzac service. all meals here were fresh and lots of choice, and staff were lovely, even with our very limited French!
Everything was to expectation. I particularly liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We arrived with our camper van to stay at the Ibis because there are very few campsites open in France in October. There was spacious safe parking for our camper while we stayed in the Hotel. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open the night we stayed but Joel the staff member on duty that night prepared us a lovely supper which was much appreciated.
This is a great place to stay right in the centre of the city. The room was exceptionally spacious and very clean. The price we paid was also very competitive. The staff were very informative and knowledgeable about Laon. We enjoyed our stay. The shower facilities were clean and well maintained. Lots of restaurants nearby. The city centre is compact and perched on the top of a very steep hill but extremely attractive.
