Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or rv park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-mounted tent, RV or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
We found the beds comfortable and the location is also pleasant, on the campsite.
It is very close, by car, to supermarkets.
I suggest that you go to Pylsuvagninn and try a dog. For us it was the best we ate in Iceland, it was more complete and tasty than others (we ordered one that had fries).
Great camping (or rather glamping) experience. If you have never tried camping (like us), this is the best way to to it. It's camping with all the comfort you can imagine. Best overnight accomodation! Wish we would have booked a 2nd night. We will come back!
The glamping dome was spectacular, very clean and bigger than it looks, the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, and extremely scenic, we saw a white tailed Eagle every day down by the river 😀 the town of selfoss is very clean and the diary food street place is a must place to eat!!!
It was very clean and overally the campsite was really quiet place (but there was not so much people due to the COVID). The campsite is in the city centre. The staff was supernice and helpful.
