A new family run glamping enterprise set within an old china clay mine. Cabins have been made from shipping containers and are very well kitted out with kitchen equipment, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee percolator, plates, glasses. a double bed to die for, cushions, blankets, a fire BBQ, electricity, robes and slippers. The hosting was superb with a real desire to please; I got lost trying to find it due to a slightly vague postcode or my rubbish satnav so the owner drobe to find me and guide me in, Nothing was too much trouble and additional requests were superbly dealt with. The continental breakfast hamper is to be highly recommended. There are only three cabins on the large site so privacy is easy and each cabin is laid out slightly differently. The communal shower and toilets were immaculate with shower gell, hand lotion, towels etc all provided. The owners kept in touch and joined me on the last morning to get feedback as I believe I was their first guest. I will be back....

We stayed over Christmas and were delighted that the kitchen was big enough and had everything we needed to cook a lovely Christmas dinner! The hot tub on the balcony was amazing to relax in at the end of every day. The staff were lovely and we were left alone to enjoy our trip, but it was easy to get in contact with someone if needed. The views were gorgeous from our balcony and the location was fantastic, only short drives to beautiful small villages and a range of beaches. It was so lovely to enter our accommodation and see a mini Christmas tree set up with a gift from Meadow Lakes - a beautiful touch at Christmas time.
