I love being able to self cater and have space to spread out. So a caravan like this is ideal. Placed in a fairly tightly packed together campsite I can imagine when the site is busy there being a lot of other folk passing, but this midweek stay was characterised by just peace and quiet, beautiful sunrises, and a great space for a jog or morning workout on near the beach (for dogs or their hoomans). (very small numbers of both this week).

The site is well located for the beach, spotlessly clean and quiet as was the clubhouse which we visited for breakfast and nightcap. Very few other people, seasonal thing? Sausage, bacon, egg etc. with a cuppa for a fiver, beer was reasonably priced but no ale or stout. Pod's were very clean, cosy and comfortable.

The pods are lovely, simple but right by the beach & clubhouse & very clean. Clubhouse is lovely, great breakfast & reasonably priced (except the speciality coffees which were £3.05 & very small).

Pods were clean and perfectly located for the beach and the Sandbank restaurant. Beds were comfortable and bedding spotless. Would recommend. Think Camping but without the agg of putting up a tent! £83 for myself, my daughter and my friend. For 2 nights during school holidays, is absolutely amazing!!

Went for two nights, stayed in camping pods, very comfortable. Ate in site restaurant, food was good but not always convinced I received the full order. Items missing. Coleslaw from salad and tea with breakfast as stated on menu. But minor points. Place is spotlessly clean, right on beach and we had a great stay!

Wonderful first stay in a camping pod separated by just some beach huts to the beach at West Mercea so perfect for a swim on a quiet beach. Great to have the bar restaurant on site for breakfast or evening drink. Comfy and well insulated camping pod. Really loved it and the ability to park outside the pod so we didn’t have to carry things far.
