Achmelvich
Each unit has a patio, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a dining area and a seating area with a flat-screen TV, while the private bathroom includes a walk-in shower and a hair dryer. A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also provided, as well as a kettle. At the campground, all units come with bed linen and towels.

This accommodation exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and luxury. We were also surprised at how spacious our pod was inside, more than enough room for a family or two couples, even with a fully fitted kitchen which was amazing. Everything we could need and immaculately clean. Double bed was small but very comfortable. We were expecting a beach view, however it's only a short walk from Achmelvich Bay, which is absolutely stunning. Up the hill and slightly further on is Achmelvich Beach, and another little walk away is Hermits Castle, which is well worth a visit. There's a little shop at the caravan park that sells essentials and some groceries, reasonably priced, and there's also a great little chip shop on site. Although it's a short drive to Lochinver and other restaurants etc, but we didn't want to leave so the chip shop was a pleasant surprise. Great base for exploring the area, although one night was pricey - but definitely treat yourself, it's worth it!
Lochinver (Near Achmelvich)
Mountview Pod also includes a hot tub, a small wet room and an outside seating area with an electric barbecue. Towels and bed linen are provided. An air fryer has been added as an extra cooking facilities .

Perfect for couples. We used this as one of our stops on our NC500 roadtrip. Great to chill in a nice warm jacuzzi after a day full of exploring, with a amazing view if the lake and mountains. Very cozy inside and has everything you need!
