Staff is absolutely superb. Very knowledgeable about the area, well-connected for trips/activities, and absolutely willing to help in every situation. Also just very nice people in general. Rooms are older but very clean and great value for money. Location is very quiet, away from the city noise.

For the very economical price, it was a gem. The bedroom was roomy with comfortable cushiony chairs. The bathroom also was large and very clean. The view from the back balcony was beautiful. Didn't have a chance to use the swimming pool, but it looked adequate for escaping the heat. This is "retro" accomodation architecturally. Not at all modern or fancy, but well-maintained.

The room was very large, with a balcony and a large living room. The room was very clean and you could see the Nile from the window. The ferry was just downstairs, which was very convenient. The landlord was very enthusiastic and tried his best to meet all our needs. He also helped us receive the refund of the bank transfer for the hot air balloon reservation and gave us Egyptian pounds.
