We really enjoyed being in nature, it was mostly quiet and we could really relax and escape the business of life. The bell tent is beautiful and service was great. The utensils were well organised. Love that it’s a sustainable eco friendly off the grid site. The shops are close enough to stock up on food.

We are a family of five and we stayed for three nights in a beautiful, very spacious and clean tent at Africamps. We had a wonderful view on the little lake and enjoyed the sunset with a glass of wine. The ordered braai- and breakfast baskets were great and I would recommend doing this south african style barbecue. We also participated in a meerkat safari, which we loved.
We just loved this hudge and very beautiful house, great please to enjoy the time outside with the pool, the hudge veranda and the fire/bbq place. Great place to enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. Inside it is very inviting and just great with lots of space. The location optimal, just 5 min to the inner city of Knysna. The landlord is very nice and accommodating. Very pitty that we just stayed 3 nights.
The luxury tents were dreamy. "Out of Africa" like. We even had company for breakfast with us on the balcony. We had coffee and they ate leaves... The evening safari was beautiful and exciting. Our stay here was possibly the best part of our entire trip.

Beautiful property with an amazing view. The decor is gorgeous and we loved the large outdoor verandah with the hammock, swinging chairs and Braai. stunning gardens and a lovely pool. Safe area too.

excellent position over looking the beach...lovely room with verandah, table 2 chairs and sun beds. vanessa and paul were welcoming hosts who gave us restaurant recommendations, number for a taxi service and showed us how to open the gate etc.

The garden route safari camp is absolutely amazing, everything about it is perfect: the houses/tents are very comfortable and luxurious, the staff is extremely friendly, the food is great and the guides are very knowledgable. No need to doubt, just book!!
From where to start? The hosts and staff are incredible, super friendly and very helpful! The accommodation (luxury tent) is exceptional with full amenities and style! The game reserve is amazing and growing with more land and animals! We had two game rides that are unforgettable! Do not miss the chance to spend part of your holiday at the Garden Route Safari Camp!
