I loved everything about our stay. The yurt was a one of a kind experience & it being in between all that green made it even more special. Every morning there was a fresh homemade breakfast with products they grew themselves. We got good tips for places to visit & help whenever we needed. I would recommend this place to everyone & if we ever return to São Jorge, then we will definitely book here again. Natacha, thank you for everything! It was a pleasure to be your guest.

Everything! We had a long day before arrival and needed help in finding the property, the host was wonderful in her directions and so welcoming on arrival. The room was stunning, and the view incredible, what a glorious sunset. We had evening dinner here and it was the most perfect evening. We hope to return one day.
All meals fresh prepared, including breakfast, very good restaurant. The nicest chocolat truffles we ever tasted. Very nice, friendly and hospitable owners. Hammock by the pool was lovely
Filipe was such a great host! He really made our Trip to Sao Jorge special, not only did tell us all about what to do on the island and where to but also was such an attentive host. The bungalo located centrally on the island which makes it a great place for exploring the island, however one should book a car for that. The bungalow even had a washing machine with a perfect view of mount pico and at night one could hear the sound of the azorean birds / wildlife.
The views, the location, and surroundings are great. You have a little balcony to sit in and enjoy the sunrise and sunset, they gave us a welcome basket and accommodated our early checkin. Staff were top.
Amazing place in a traditional settlement (fajã) very close to the ocean, the lakes and the beautiful mountains. I had wonderful time staying at that guesthouse and feeling at home. It was very peaceful, with very tasty breakfast and dinner, good bathroom with hot shower and a comfortable bed. The hosts David and Kristina and the volunteers were very kind and friendly, there's such a good atmosphere there. This is the way a guesthouse should be run.
The location was really great. Don’t trust the adress information on booking though and look it up on google (we drove the wrong way) or use coordinates provided by the host. The view is amazing, and you really have some privacy. We really loved spending time on the terras, either for a sunrise view at breakfast or a sunset/moon view at dinner in the evening. The place is very cosy and service is excellent. Breakfast is taken care off everyday, and they even provide tablets for using the washing machine!

we loved everything about our stay at Abrigo da Cascata! Silvia was the best hostess, who went above and beyond to make everything perfect! The room was super pretty, clean and comfortable. Sylvia’s cooking is delicious and done with all local ingredients and serving delicious local wine. We had the most romantic sunset dinner on the deck in front of the cottage. The location on the ocean and next to a spectacular waterfall was a dream!
,Wonderful view on Pico, and a spacious, comfortable apartment. Just a few steps away is a little harbor with a nice bar, where you can enjoy the sunset. Diana, our host, made us feel welcome during the whole stay. You could really feel, that she wants you to have a nice time on the island.
