At the luxury tent, each unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. We had an amazing stay! The property is absolutely beautiful! We had amazing views, so many birds singing for us, could enjoy some marshmallows around the bonfire and had a wonderful breakfast! The tent was super comfortable and spacious and last but not least we could admire a huge amount of Glowworm here! Definitely recommend staying here!

From the beautiful decor to the thoughtful little touches (fresh eggs, juice, bread and milk, and a smore kit), everything was just really pleasant, and the host was really helpful and responsive. We took up the option to order a charcuterie board and onsite massages - amazing!

I travel alot for work and have spent many a night in wonderful hotels around the world. I have never stayed in accommodation which makes you feel more comfortable and at home than this place thanks to its lovely lay out and even lovelier hosts.

Everything!! We stayed in Shepherd Hut and it was a cute cabin with comfortable bed and Seaview. The bay was gorgeous with a stunning sunset. The facilities were clean, the operators super lovely and a little food truck that made the best burgers. The camp site is small so not over flooded with tents and people. We were so relaxed and loved every minute of our stay!
The location was wonderful sitting on the veranda looking at the sunset then the clear night sky with visible Milky Way.
Great location, lovely room, very easy to access and very clean. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked good. We did sit on the shared verandah and watch the sunset one afternoon which was lovely.
I loved the courtyard with the benches, hammocks and hot tub. It was right by the water and sunset views were great. Easy to walk to the main street. Shower was good. I didn't use them but there were wetsuits, surfboards and possibly kayaks available.
This is a beautiful little apartment, with lots of artistic touches. The view out is lovely with flowers and plants and then fields in which we saw and heard cows munching the grass! The bed was comfortable, and the kitchenette was well equipped. The bath on the veranda was a lovely place to relax at sunset.
Brilliant Backpackers. Outdoor-indoor communal areas has a very cool vibe and is well equipped. Communal area to hang washing too (or dry out tents etc). Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful at checkin and checkout. Rooms are four beds to a room, so no overcrowding in the dorms themselves. Comfy bed. Super clean. Hot showers. Great vibes for travellers and hikers, lots of Te Araroa hikers around.
we loved the kitchen living room area that had great views overlooking the harbour and a distant sea view but captured the sunset. The spa and hammock outdoors were appreciated too. There was enough space for us all too to have some privacy.
our room was modern and clean. loved relaxing on the verandah watching the summer sunsets! all the staff were welcoming and friendly . food in the restaurant was superb - lovely dining on the terrace. very easy walk to town

Right on top with spectacular sea view to see the sunset and wake up to the sound of crashing sea waves Their dog Tahi was the cutest friendly dog who always would come for cuddles Recommend place and the outdoor furniture made by the owner was lovely including the hammock Will love to visit again!!
