The building has a beautiful architecture, with split level design and backing onto a small river side garden with sauna. The garden was perfect for morning coffees and exercise, or a sunset beer. The family were incredibly hospitable and kindly gave us lifts to trailhead and helped us plan journey to and from via public transport. The hot tub was great to relax in.
Felt like a home. Had a room to myself-cool experience, traditional Japanese style. Super hot shower. Nice remote location. Parking access. Near a train stop.
Nice clean tatami rooms, hot bath, nice sunset. Amazed that the mosaic tiles in the toilet are so clean! Mr YUMOTO is really helpful, friendly and nice, he arranged transport to snow monkey park, can borrow appropriate shoes for the short hike and gave very good suggestions on nice places to visit around the area and at our next destination.
We had a fabulous stay at Misorano Chalet for our family ski holiday. We loved the quiet and beautiful location amongst the trees, walking distance to 7-11, close proximity to Hakuba 47/Goyru ski field. The chalet was warm & cosy, and we loved the old school charm with its wood interior. We also loved the hot shower! Thank you Craig for a wonderful stay.
Excellent staff and breakfast and location by the train and bus station very convenient! Onsen was a major plus - highly recommend catching sunset from the public or private baths on the roof :) Also loved the little extras like the welcome drink and self-service complementary coffee in the mornings
We especially liked being able to have our baggage stored before check-in, the air filter with humidifier in the room, the temperature of the room (not too warm despite the residual snow outside), the comfortable bed, the night shirts provided with the room, the nice hot shower in the ensuite bathroom, and the breakfast.
