The room was spacious, clean and quiet with a nice view of the river and forest. It was lovely sitting on the verandah listening to the rive accompanied by birdsong; no other sounds.
It was super clean and comfortable and bright. Really love the hammocks too - nice area for sitting to eat outside.

We booked last minute in peak season & was the cheapest property in Kyoto (although still expensive) we were well aware it was a love hotel & what that entails - which was a good laugh and something to experience! Large bath & great hot shower!

We were met by our lovely host who showed us through the house, how to work everything and gave us personalized recommendations in the area. The house itself was incredible, traditional beds on tatami mats with the paper sliding doors and walls, hot showers, beautiful scenery in a stunning setting. It felt fully immersive in the culture and history of Japan, a once in a lifetime experience staying at Gojo Miyabi Inn and I would love to visit again.
Excellent location. Quiet street and room though no real view. We strolled to beautiful gardens on sunset as the crowds dispersed. Good choices for evening meals very close. Bottle shop across the road for an icey beverage at the end of a big day. Close to buses, not too far from train. Fab shopping strip minutes away.
