The self cooking occurs inside the igloo and was easy and delicious using an induction hob.

The room window view is really nice. Close to natural and even can see wildlife.
Room size : Comfy room with good heating system. Strong hot shower. Japanese bidet type toilet. Breakfast : Good variety of food. Parking : Free parking onsite. Staff : Friendly and informative western staff, so there are no language barrier. View from the room : View from Mt. Yotei from the window(if the weather permit) was very nice.
Dinner and breakfast were delicious! The tents were spacious and clean, and staff were very friendly.
This is the such a homely guesthouse with the most welcoming and lovely host! The location is perfect with amazing viewing spots for sunrise and sunset less than a 10min walk away. It’s always nice and warm so if you’re there in winter it’s great to pop back and defrost after exploring. The smells from the café walking in are absolutely delicious and the food is wholesome and tasty. It’s a fantastic base for exploring Shiretoko National park, I’ll absolutely be coming back to see this magical place in every season!
Common room facilities were appreciated for a long stay as we had the option to buy food and cook it at the hotel. USB connections next to every bed was great. Water pressure and a hot shower after a long day on the hill was fantastic. Busses were great for acces to Hirafu and Hanazono. They have separate washing machines and dryer with are so much better than the combined machines that other hotels usually have.
Staff were exceptional, hotel was super clean and with a raging hot shower(good). The location was the best to access the train and bus service.
The staff was lovely. They offer us lots of help. There were plenty of complementary, over-the-top services: a shampoo bar and pillow bar to choose what you like, a cosy lounge with free tea, juice, coffee and red wine. Breakfast was amazing: delicious Japanese/Western set meals with some buffet items. Made us feel safe and at home in this deserted city
