Breakfast was an absolute delight every morning , we couldn t wait to see what warm baked goods marsha had produced that morning , plus coffee , juice , fruit , yogurt and granola or chia seed pudding or porridge with berries , pastries and butter, milk and jam. Delivered to our door at an arranged time .
Marsha and Jimmy could not have been more helpful or considerate .
The location is beautiful, very peaceful and well maintained
All facilities were clean and in good order .
I would highly recommend the yurt at McClure Glamping site .

The beds are very comfortable and the underfloor heating in the bathroom. The food in the Hound restaurant is good, BUT the menu lacks ‘tasty’ casual options. Meal for two, sharing a starter and a desert, bottle of house white, was over €150.
Great little self contained cottage with parking out the front. Small bathroom but good hot shower. Kitchen has all you need including a dishwasher (but no tablets/powder that I could find, but with only two of us easier to wash by hand anyway). Very useful to have a washer/dryer combo. Bedroom quite big with comfortable bed (2 doubles) and good blinds on all the windows. Lounge has comfy couch which also can fold out as an extra bed.
Beautiful room and spacious. Plenty of parking on site and house is gorgeous. A couple of brief interactions with the owner who was lovely and was kind enough to let us into our room early. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Cold continental breakfast served in a picnic basket to your room. Short 10 minute walk into city centre. Would stay again if given the opportunity.
This hotel is ideal for staying in Kilkenny and being right in the centre of things. The walks around the castle and down along the river, eventually arrives back at the hotel which is fab. Sitting out on the veranda along the river with a drink is so relaxing, watching the sun set.
very cosy apartment . very quite area. peaceful. amazing to relax, rest and have a good sleep. comfy beds. nice hot shower . owners so kind and always with a smile and very helpful. They left some eggs , bacon , orange juice , coffee pods , some cereals etc very thoughtful of them . little touches that make all the difference! we didn’t want to leave and if at any stage we will be around that area we will definitely stay again. we recommend this place . Thank you Pat and Phill for amazing stay and for make us feel home .
Dinner was amazing and night club was abit of crack . And a lovely desert plate and chocolates in my room for my birthday was a lovely surprise!!

Good location near Kilkenny Town but in lovely countryside.Cute log pod with very comfy bed.My partner 6ft 5 but fit easily.Clean plentiful hot showers and toilets staff on site and very friendly and helpful.Ponies in the next field and good swing set and games room
Downstairs bedroom & bathroom worked well for elderly parents with mobility problems. Wildlife park opposite the property was lovely for walks as was wheelchair accessible. Location also worked well as quiet but close to all amenities.
