The location by the river was excellent. The food was good and the dining area was nicely presented. The staff were welcoming and helpful in the restaurant. We liked the upper garden with sunset views of the river. There was plenty of outside seating and parking space.
The area, the scenery, peace & quiet, wildlife
We loved our stay at High View Barn. Completely rural, the views are amazing with lots of walks nearby. We loved the wildlife; sheep in the adjacent fields, rabbits, deer & pheasant in the garden! The barn itself is clean & has everything you need.

Clean, comfortable property in a beautiful and peaceful location. Very comfortable beds. We saw a lot of wildlife from the windows, including rabbits, pheasants, squirrels and deer. Chairs, tables and a bench provided for sitting outside and enjoying the sun. Good shower. Plenty of space.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. Every where you look there’s something interesting to see. With the Views, scenery and wildlife. It felt like we could have been in Scotland.
